Boomerang Transport is currently seeking dependable drivers in the Winder area to help transport clients to physical therapy appointments, dialysis treatments, and other non-emergency medical appointments throughout Barrow County and surrounding communities.
We are currently looking to add 2-3 drivers in the Winder market. Drivers with weekday daytime availability are especially needed, as many of our current transportation requests occur between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Most trips are scheduled in advance, allowing drivers to plan their schedules ahead of time.
Drivers use their own vehicle to transport clients safely and professionally to and from their appointments. This position is ideal for retirees, stay-at-home parents, self-employed individuals, or anyone seeking flexible supplemental income while making a positive impact in their community.
Boomerang Transport is seeking dependable and friendly chauffeurs who meet the following qualifications:
• Have a clean, late-model 4-door sedan, SUV, or minivan (pickup trucks are not permitted). Vehicle must be free of major modifications and significant body damage and be less than 15 years old
• Possess a valid driver’s license issued by your state of residence and maintain current personal auto insurance
• Have access to a GPS device or smartphone navigation app and be familiar with the Winder and surrounding areas
• Be able to text updates when safely stopped
• Respond promptly to dispatch communications regarding trip assignments and ride updates
• Be generally available Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM (full availability is not required)
• Meet background check requirements
Above all, we are looking for DEPENDABLE, friendly, and courteous drivers who enjoy helping others. As a company, we strongly support charitable causes and will make a charitable donation in your name based on the miles you drive. This donation is paid entirely by the company and does not come from your compensation.
Compensation:
• $0.75 per loaded mile
• Minimum trip pay of $11.75 per leg
• Wait time pay
• Gas bonus
• Tolls and parking reimbursement
• Average trip pays approximately $50
• Most drivers complete 2 or more trips per week

- Once the paperwork is returned and is complete you will be fully approved and eligible to receive rides
- A minimum age of twenty-five (25) years.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by your state of residence for the type of vehicle to be operated.
- Must be current on personal auto insurance policy.
- Must have an active cell phone plan, however if prepaid and NOT on autopay then must provide proof of 6 consecutive timely payments.
- Must be a US citizen or resident alien with a TIN- Taxpayer Identification Number (SSN, EIN, & ITIN are acceptable).
